The crime rate in Singapore is one of the lowest in the world. They have a Crime Rate Per 100,000 population of 650. The United States alone has a Crime Rate Per 100,000 population of 4249.4, with the State of California ranking 15th in the country for highest crime rate.
Following a similar model that implements caning as punishment, as done in Singapore, is a better deterrent for criminals than the current system that is in place. Caning as punishment can match crimes at various levels of seriousness, ranging from theft to domestic abuse.

Mr. Midnight Movie Competition Heats Up
Last week we had a minor set back because our production company, Mr. Midnight Movie Productions LLC, decided to let a hawt chick borrow our camera equipment. She wanted to film herself a little so she can try to get discovered. Little did she know at the time that she might have just been creating her entry film to enter the Mr. Midnight Movie Competition. That's right people who like films. We are going to soon be reaching out to YOU to send ME your home-made videos.
From that pool of videos, we will select the participants in our 1st annual film festival to be held in August of this year at a location to be revealed in coming weeks.
